Here's how you can get involved!

Now that we are on the road and the Hiking My Feelings Tour is in full swing, here is how you can follow along with and participate in our adventures, depending on how you like to consume information and what channels you are most comfortable on:

Hiking My Feelings™ is our Facebook group. I post live videos in the morning, sharing about what happened the previous day, and challenging you to go out in the world and make a difference.

Hiking My Feelings is our Facebook page. This is where we post events for what's coming up on the tour (talks and hikes) so they're all in one place for folks who still love FB.

@hikingmyfeelings on Instagram is where I promote the tour, amplify organizations that are working to make the outdoors accessible for everyone, and share posts from the community about how hiking has impacted their lives.

#WilliamsintheWild is your backstage pass to what’s happening on tour - we document our adventures on our YouTube channel for longer-form content. Season one wrapped up last week, and season two is coming soon. The episodes in S2 will be more documentary style, more free-form. I took a very templated approach to S1 and we both feel like we sacrificed some content to keep the segments consistent, so that is a major change we are making for S2.

Lastly, and perhaps what I'm most excited about, workshops. Folks on the road during the first two tours through LA asked about the process I went through as I walked 40+ miles from one end of Catalina Island to the other.

If Hiking My Feelings were a college, Your Empathy Evolution would be HMF101. This workshop takes folks through the very first layer of my process: identifying that negative soundtrack that plays in our heads, reframing it, and shifting from fear-based decision making to making decisions rooted in love for ourselves, our community and this planet.

HMF201 is Unpacking Your #Traumapack. After we stop talking to ourselves like assholes (one of the goals of HMF101), we can start looking inside these invisible backpacks that we all carry. These backpacks are heavy, and they are full of our bullshit and that of others. Once we know we have this backpack on, it's near impossible not to look inside. This comes in the form of 1-on-1 support from me. If this has your attention, DM me or email me to set up some time to chat.

HMF301, coming late Q4/early 2020 is all about peak performance and summiting your personal mountain on the way to becoming a Well-Being. This is an experiential program, incorporating all of the work I've done to liberate myself to support folks who want to literally walk the walk with us. We are planning a retreat with some very special partners for early next year, and this program supports you before, during, and after the hike of your life.

And of course, I would love to share my story with you and your friends, family, colleagues, etc. My speaking tour with REI is still booking more dates and is the framework for the tour. While we are in town, I am available to bring this talk to your favorite coffee shop, your office, your couch, whatever makes sense for you. We are not limited to REI stores, and the programs described above are also available as seminars for organizations who are looking to take employee wellness to the next level. If you're interested in hosting this talk, shoot me a note so I can send you our 2019 sponsorship package.

We look forward to seeing you on the road, in your conference room, or on the trail! 💚

And, if you made it down here, I'd be so grateful if you could share this post! The algorithm hasn't been my friend since I took a month off in October 2017 to get my life together after my #type2diabetes diagnosis, and we can use all the help we can get to spread the word!
